You're a fit for this role, if you:

• Candidates should possess a minimum of a degree in Finance or a related discipline, or hold a professional accounting certification, accompanied by at least 2 years of accounting experience. Experience in auditing is considered advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Experience in sectors such as retail, e-commerce, consumer products, or FMCG is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with Oracle Netsuite or similar software applications is beneficial.
• The ability to multitask and perform effectively under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is essential.
• Candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail, robust analytical skills, and a solid understanding of business principles.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively manage stakeholder relationships are necessary.

We are looking for an ambitious Accountant / Account Executive to:

• Prepare all requisite journal entries and account reconciliations for cash, prepaid expenses, accruals, inter-company transactions, fixed assets, payroll, and various accounts pertaining to our operations in Malaysia.
• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of vendor bills, purchase orders, payments, and employee claims within the accounting system, in compliance with established policies and accounting standards.
• Record financial transactions from source documents into the accounting system, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and timely reconciliation with bank records.
• Assist with audit requests and inquiries as needed.
• Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations, actively investigating and taking necessary actions on aging accounts.
• Promptly address and resolve inquiries and discrepancies from vendors and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
